Our Scholarships Make a Difference
The St. John-Dyer Chamber awarded six $1,000 scholarships this past year to graduating High School Seniors pursuing continued education in their fields. To be considered for a chamber scholarship the applicant must be a graduating senior, living in the town of St. John or Dyer. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of financial need, academic ability, commitment to receiving an education, and community service and involvement. Applications can be downloaded from our Website after January of 2027 and are also available through the Chamber office.

We are excited to host the 1st Annual Dyer Holiday Lights at Central Park!
For a sponsorship of $100 you can feature your business, organization, school, church, club, family, and more! Trees will be placed along our tree walk to light up the December nights with official lighting Thanksgiving weekend running through New Year’s Day.
*Trees are limited to 30 for this inaugural year, so don’t delay or you may miss out!*
Trees are approximately 6′ high and will be installed for you. All you have to do is decorate!

Our time-honored Santa Breakfast event brings families from across the community together to enjoy a delicious waffle buffet breakfast for just $10.00 per guest. Children will also have the opportunity to enter a toy raffle and enjoy a special visit from The Big Man himself… SANTA! Each child can meet and greet Santa and have their photo taken to capture the holiday magic.
Past guest appearances have included Mrs. Claus, local school and church choirs performing holiday favorites, and spotlight performances from local dance studios sharing excerpts from their Holiday Dance Showcase.
Opportunities to sponsor are available on our event pages. The Chamber has been hosting this event for many years and it is enjoyed by young and old.
High-Value Client & Partner Networking Event
Join the St. John–Dyer Chamber of Commerce for the 2nd annual Nine & Vine Golf Outing on July 31st at Briar Ridge Golf Course! This event is a great opportunity for client appreciation, business networking, team outings, and showcasing your brand to local business leaders and influencers. Sponsorship opportunities are available, including hole sponsorships, golfer goodie bag donations, cart sponsorships, raffle games with prizes, and more.
The golf outing is a great event, don’t miss out!
Networking Lunch & Vendor Fair
This is a multi-chamber collaboration event in partnership with Schererville, Munster, Lansing, and Highland. The event typically occurs the second week of September. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their business in a B2B setting as well as to connect with the public during open hours of the event. Every year our Expo grows larger and there are more prizes, raffles, leads, and relationships to be had! The expo is immediately followed by a highly coveted networking lunch. Tickets are pre-sale only, so watch for promotions to begin in late summer, or contact us for more information and to be added to our mailing list.

Monthly Member Meetings – Organized over lunch
