The St. John Chamber of Commerce began back in July of 1961 and has grown substantially over the past 50 years.  In 2018 the St. John Chamber of Commerce merged with the Dyer Chamber of Commerce to form what is now the St. John-Dyer Chamber of Commerce.  Chamber membership is approximately 250 members strong and growing.  Our monthly membership meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month, and hosted by Chamber member venues.  For your convenience, we provide a calendar of events that lists all of the meeting dates and places for the calendar year as they are scheduled.  We also publish and distribute a weekly email blast to all members with important information for the business community.

Membership in your local Chamber of Commerce presents the opportunity to network with fellow business professionals as well as to make a positive impact on your community. The Chamber organizes and participates in a number of annual programs, including:

  • Spring Trivia Event (Community & Team Networking in March)

  • Scholarship Program (awarded to St. John or Dyer high school students/residents)

  • St. John Roadside Banners (2-year program along Rt 41 )

  • Bags & BBQ Networking Event (late August B2B)

  • Golf Outing (Business Networking and Collaboration Event in late September)

  • Fall in Love with Your Business (B2B Expo with Networking Lunch in Sept/Oct)

  • Dyer Holiday Lights (Displayed at Dyer Central park Nov-Jan)

  • Breakfast with Santa (Hosted at SJE the first Saturday in December)
