DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the Holiday Season with the Town of Dyer at our second annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in Central Park!\nAn invitation has been sent to The Big Man himself to share in an evening of delicious hot cocoa\, holiday carols\, and special appearances by a variety of town and seasonal guests.  Come together with your neighbors for true holiday fun! \nFestivities will begin at 5:30 PM\, leading up to the tree lighting ceremony and a special guest appearance at 6:00 p.m. sharp!  Enjoy music\, singing\, and other holiday-themed entertainment.  A special invitation has been sent to Santa Claus to help with the official countdown for the lighting of our NEW Town Light Display and first-ever Tree Walk!  There will be a dedicated area set up for photos with Santa. \nThis is free to attend\, so bring your family and friends and bask in the season of good cheer! \n  \nLOOKING TO SPONSOR A TREE AT THIS EVENT? JOHN-DYER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND THE TOWN OF DYER PRESENT:\nDyer Holiday Lights\n\nThe St. John-Dyer Chamber is excited to host the 1st annual Dyer Holiday Lights at Central Park.\n \nFor a sponsorship of $100 you can feature your business\, organization\, school\, church\, club\, family\, and more!\n \nTrees will be placed along our tree walk to light up the December nights with official lighting Thanksgiving weekend running through New Year’s Day.\n \n*Trees are limited to 30 for this inaugural year\, so don’t delay or you may miss out!*\n \nTrees are approximately 6′ high and will be installed for you. All you have to do is decorate!\n \n*Please keep in mind that the trees are outdoor and decorations should be environmentally friendly. The Town of Dyer reserves the right to remove any tree that uses offensive language or takes away from the celebrations of this event.\nPayment must be received no later than Friday\, November 15th.\nPlease have trees decorated prior to opening night\, Friday\, December 6th. DESCRIPTION:Visit Our St. John-Dyer Chamber of Commerce Booth in Central Park!\n \nThe Dyer Police Department is hosting its annual National Night Out Against Crime 2024 on Tuesday\, August 6\, 2024\, from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. \nThis year’s event will be held at Central Park\, located at 900 Central Park Boulevard just east of Calumet Avenue. The Dyer Police Department in conjunction with Dyer Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 169\, Town of Dyer entities\, businesses\, and members of our communities will come together to enjoy a fun-filled community event. It is our goal to collaborate with the community and build upon the events from the years past and continue to work together fighting crime\, educating our community\, and taking proactive measures to make our community stronger. \nThis year’s event will include a variety of displays\, information booths\, refreshments\, music\, and various games for the children. To keep building our event we need the support of the community. We are currently seeking businesses and organizations that would like to set up booths that represent their business and provide information or giveaways to the public. If unavailable to host a booth we are also seeking donations that will be used to fund the activities involved with the event. \nShould you decide to donate to the event we will display your company’s logo or donor’s name at the event as a sponsor. Please make checks payable to Town of Dyer and indicate in the memo line National Night Out or NNO.
