National Night Out Against Crime - Dyer

The Dyer Police Department is hosting its annual National Night Out Against Crime 2024 on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.

This year’s event will be held at Central Park, located at 900 Central Park Boulevard just east of Calumet Avenue. The Dyer Police Department in conjunction with Dyer Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 169, Town of Dyer entities, businesses, and members of our communities will come together to enjoy a fun-filled community event. It is our goal to collaborate with the community and build upon the events from the years past and continue to work together fighting crime, educating our community, and taking proactive measures to make our community stronger.

This year’s event will include a variety of displays, information booths, refreshments, music, and various games for the children. To keep building our event we need the support of the community. We are currently seeking businesses and organizations that would like to set up booths that represent their business and provide information or giveaways to the public. If unavailable to host a booth we are also seeking donations that will be used to fund the activities involved with the event.

Should you decide to donate to the event we will display your company’s logo or donor’s name at the event as a sponsor. Please make checks payable to Town of Dyer and indicate in the memo line National Night Out or NNO. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Commander Shane Hendron at shendron@townofdyer or call 219-865-1163.

Thank you for your continued support in keeping Dyer one of the safest communities in Indiana. DOWNLOAD A PARTICIPATION FORM HERE
