The Advocate Committee

Our Advocate Committee is composed of Chamber member volunteers who want to become more involved in the Chamber activities and assist the Chamber in attracting and retaining members.

Benefits of Being an Advocate

  • Increased business visibility through Chamber activities

  • Increased opportunities to develop business for your company

  • Increased awareness of important issues facing the community

Role of an Advocate

  • The company you represent must be a member of the Chamber in good standing

  • Maintain an “active” role within the Chamber

  • Welcome new members to the Chamber and new businesses to the community via direct communication

  • Assist with on-going member retention and recruitment efforts by providing a direct conduit between businesses and the Chamber

  • Collect and provide member feedback to event committees, as well as offer suggested improvements to Chamber-sponsored events and programs

  • Represent the Chamber at sponsored outings, ribbon cuttings, before- and after-hours networking, and other special events

  • Promote high value, Member-to-Member networking activity
